Comparison

Healthixio vs Healthray

Both publish their prices. Here is what the two models actually cost.

Facts on this page were verified against public sources on 13 August 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, we say so rather than estimating it.

Healthray is one of the very few hospital software vendors in India that publishes its prices, which makes this an unusually honest comparison to write — both companies put their numbers on a public page. The real difference is not the headline figure but the billing model: Healthray charges per user per month per care centre, while Healthixio charges per bed with users bundled in.

Healthray

Publishes pricing

Per user, per month, per care centre — billed annually

Healthray publishes per-user monthly rates by product line. On its pricing page, Clinical Management is listed at ₹499 per user/month (Starter) and ₹699 per user/month (Professional), with Practice Management at ₹699 and ₹1,299, and Healthcare CRM at ₹1,499 and ₹2,499. Annual per-care-centre figures shown include ₹30,000/year for Clinical Management Basic and ₹54,000/year for Practice Management Advanced. Starter and Professional tiers are listed with a user capacity of up to 10; enterprise deployments above 200 users are quoted individually.

Healthixio

Where Healthray is strong

No software is right for every hospital, including ours. These are genuine reasons to put Healthray on your shortlist.

  • Publishes pricing openly, which most of the Indian market still refuses to do
  • Broad product line beyond core HMS — CRM, home healthcare and practice management modules
  • Clear per-product tiering that suits organisations wanting to buy one capability at a time
  • Established presence with a substantial content and support operation

Where Healthixio works differently

01

Per-bed billing versus per-user billing

This is the decision that actually changes your invoice. A hospital running three shifts needs a lot of logins — reception, billing, pharmacy, lab, store. On a per-user model every one of those people is a recurring line item. Healthixio bundles named users with the bed slab (5 up to 20 beds, one more per additional 10 beds) and charges ₹3,000 a year for extras, so headcount growth barely moves the bill.

02

What renewal costs

Healthixio renewal is materially lower than year one — ₹20,000 a year for up to 20 beds against ₹40,000 in year one, rising with bed capacity and published slab by slab. Buyers should ask any vendor, including us, to put the year-two number in writing before signing, because that is where hospital software contracts usually hurt.

03

Modules bundled rather than tiered

Healthixio does not sell capability tiers. OPD, IPD, wards, EMR, billing, pharmacy, pathology, TPA, payroll, reports and ABDM are all included at every bed slab, and you deduct ₹3,000 if you do not need Pharmacy or Pathology. There is no upgrade path to buy a feature you assumed you already had.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Healthray if…

Healthray is a reasonable fit if you want a specific product line rather than a full hospital system — a CRM or a home-healthcare module — if your team is small enough to sit comfortably inside a 10-user tier, or if you want a vendor with a wider product portfolio to grow into.

Choose Healthixio if…

Healthixio fits better if you run a 20–70 bed hospital or nursing home with many staff logins across shifts, want every module included rather than tiered, and want the renewal price fixed and visible before you commit.

Frequently asked

Is Healthixio cheaper than Healthray?+

It depends entirely on your headcount, which is the honest answer. Healthray bills per user per month; Healthixio bills per bed with users bundled. A small clinic with three logins may find the two comparable, while a 50-bed hospital running three shifts with 12–15 logins will usually pay less on a per-bed model. Both companies publish their rates, so you can do the arithmetic yourself before either sales call.

Do both Healthixio and Healthray support ABDM and ABHA?+

Both support ABDM. Healthixio is officially integrated under National Health Authority guidelines, covering ABHA health ID creation at reception, linking of digital health records, and Health Facility Registry and Healthcare Professionals Registry registration from inside the software.

Can I see both products before deciding?+

Healthixio publishes all 49 product screens on its product tour page and offers the same walkthrough as a downloadable PDF, so you can evaluate the software without booking a call. Ask any vendor you shortlist for the same — a product that cannot be shown before a sales call is a risk.

Judge it on the software, not the pitch

All 49 screens are published, and the full price list is on one page. Compare both against anyone on your shortlist.
