Comparison
Healthixio vs KareXpert
Enterprise platform sold on request, against a published price list.
Facts on this page were verified against public sources on 13 August 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, we say so rather than estimating it.
KareXpert is a cloud hospital platform aimed largely at mid-size and large hospitals, with a modular platform structure. It does not publish pricing: directory listings carry "Price on Request", and buyers are asked to request a callback. That makes this comparison less about rupee-for-rupee and more about what kind of buying process each vendor expects you to go through.
KareXpert
Price on requestPrice on request — packages per platform, custom quoting
As of August 2026, KareXpert does not publish prices. Its Techjockey listing states "Price on Request" and "Price Available on Request", directing buyers to request a callback for subscription details. Pricing is described as depending on which platforms a healthcare organisation requires, with packages per platform and custom pricing available. No verified per-bed or per-user rate is publicly available.

Where KareXpert is strong
No software is right for every hospital, including ours. These are genuine reasons to put KareXpert on your shortlist.
- Built for larger, more complex hospital environments with a modular platform architecture
- Suited to organisations that need integrations and bespoke scoping as part of the deal
- Enterprise sales motion with implementation support at scale
- Established brand recognition in the Indian mid-to-large hospital segment
Where Healthixio works differently
Custom quoting suits large hospitals and penalises small ones
Scoped enterprise quoting genuinely makes sense above a certain size, which is why Healthixio also quotes above 70 beds. Below that, a 30-bed nursing home does not need a discovery process to learn a number that is already published: ₹40,000 up to 20 beds, and a printed slab for every bed count above it.
Everything included versus platforms bought separately
Where pricing depends on which platforms you buy, the cost of adding pathology or pharmacy later is unknown at signing. Healthixio includes every module at every bed slab, and the only optional adjustments are deductions for modules you do not want.
Seat costs are visible
Healthixio publishes what an extra login costs — ₹3,000 a year for staff, ₹1,500 for doctors, halved at renewal. Undisclosed per-user charges are the most common source of bill shock in Indian hospital software, so ask every vendor for that number specifically.
Which one should you choose?
Choose KareXpert if…
KareXpert is the stronger shortlist candidate if you are a large or multi-speciality hospital needing deep integrations, bespoke workflows and an enterprise implementation programme, and your procurement expects a scoped quote regardless.
Choose Healthixio if…
Healthixio fits better if you are a 20–70 bed hospital or nursing home that wants a published price, every module included, and the ability to evaluate the software and the cost before speaking to sales.
Frequently asked
How much does KareXpert cost?+
KareXpert does not publish pricing. As of August 2026 its Techjockey listing shows "Price on Request", and buyers are asked to request a callback; cost depends on which platforms the organisation requires. There is no verified public per-bed or per-user rate. Healthixio publishes its complete price list, starting at ₹40,000 a year for up to 20 beds with all modules included.
Is Healthixio suitable for a hospital with more than 70 beds?+
Yes, but above 70 beds it is quoted rather than taken from the published table, because larger hospitals typically need integrations, multi-branch rollout and dedicated support that the published slabs do not cover. The published slabs run from 20 to 70 beds, ₹40,000 to ₹90,000 in year one.
What should I ask any HMS vendor before signing?+
Four things in writing: the first-year total, the renewal or AMC figure from year two, the cost of an additional user login, and exactly which modules are included versus chargeable. Most disputes in Indian hospital software contracts come from the second and third of those.
